Our authentic process of making ghee is inspired by the home cooked method of Bilona ghee and perfected with the touch of technology. It is made through Vedic process, the bilona process. It is the traditional method of procuring ghee from milk as specified in the Vedas. The process essentially includes the following steps:
The milk is first heated and fermented into yogurt. Next, the yogurt is hand-churned vehemently in big pots to transform it into butter. This butter is then boiled to separate the milk solids from the fats.
This ghee maintains healthy and fat-soluble vitamins that make absorbing essential nutrients simpler for the body. Hand-churned ghee also contains linolenic acid, which is helpful for a healthy physique.
Ghee is the most important ingredient in an Indian household which supplies high nutrients that boosts the immunity of the body. The imperishable ghee was produced over the fire while humans were thinking how to preserve the best (the essence) of what milk gives us. The villagers' women would prepare some, gather it for a bit, and then bring it to the young mother as a gift. It would energies her, allowing her to produce greater milk for her newborn child. It was used to relieve joint pain, frostbite, dry skin, inflamed infant anus, chapped lips in the countryside.
